Say Hello to the Young Heretics Club

No, this is not a joke and I’m not being sarcastic in any way. I am entirely serious about this. I am changing Live Life Loud to the Young Heretics Club. Now, before you get the torches and think I am going off track, let me explain.

I started doing a Bible study with some friends and we met once a week. One day the pastor jokingly called our group the Young Heretics Club. I kinda laughed, then thought why he even said this (I still don’t quite know what he meant by it). Pretty soon, my friends and I started using the name as well. While this blog site is mostly my own venture, I try to get my friends involved as much as I can, so I thought it fitting to rename it to the “YHC”. So, the name has no other meaning than just a sentimental one (if you could call it that). But, in my defense, I have found a better meaning for the name. One of the definitions for a heretic are one who goes against popular opinion. In this case, the popular opinion is the world’s opinion. Just think of it as another name for “Rebelution” and instead of fighting against low expectations, I’m fighting against false doctrines and more specifically, the emerging church.

Hopefully that explains it. Now, you can find the new site at theyhc.wordpress.com. I’m still going to keep the Live Life Loud blog up, but I am not going to make any updates on it.
